NELSON Family Reunion

Nelson Reunion The annual Nelson reunion for the descendants of Jave and Ellen Evans Nelson is scheduled for July 12th, 2008, at the Farmers Grove Baptist Church fellowship hall in Anderson County, Tennessee. Jave and Ellen settled in Anderson County in the 1870's. Their children included David, Henry, Catherine Nelson Tadlock, Frank, Tom, Cynthia Nelson Wilson, Page, Taylor, Sam, and Clara Nelson Yerkes. There will be fun and games for the kids and family history displays with old pictures and other memorabilia. Covered dish lunch will be at noon. Doors will open at 11:00 A. M. JOHNSON Family Reunion

Johnson Reunion The annual Johnson reunion for the descendants of John and Eliza Hensley Johnson is scheduled for June 28th, 2008, at the Farmers Grove Baptist Church fellowship hall in Anderson County, Tennessee. They were married in 1848 in Knox County, Tennessee, and later moved to Anderson County. Their children included Jerome, George, Napoleon, John, Thomas, Mary, William, Martha, Demarcus, Samintha and Richard. Their son Rev. John Johnson pastored area churches including Farmers Grove Baptist, New Salem Baptist, Spring Hill Baptist and Zion Baptist. There will be fun and games for the kids and family history displays with old pictures and other memorabilia. Covered dish lunch will be at noon. Doors will open at 11:00 A. M.
