Researching in Anderson County:
Researching in Anderson, Knox, and Campbell Counties.:
I am the Great Great Grandson of Jacob Roe and it has taken a long time
to find him. My Great Grandfather,William Roe listed his place of birth
as Anderson County,TN as that of his fathers also. I could never find anything
on a Roe family in Anderson County. I recently found that Jacob and many
other Roes are buried,now,in Bug Barren Cemetary, Union County,TN. As my
G.G.Grandfther was born in 1801 and my G.Grandfather was born in 1836,they
were born in Anderson County,but as I understand that part of Anderson
County became part of Union County when Union County was formed in 1850.
Now that I got this information I am trying to find out anything else about
the Roe family,was Betsy,buried by Jacob,his wife? How many children are
not buried with them? Eight Roe family members are listed for Big Barron
and they cannot all be offspring of Jacob as some have DOB close to his
death. Anyone out there with ties or information on the Roe family please
help.I would like to find out Jacobs fathers name to.

Researching my grandparents, Jesse Hall Yarber & Sara Savada Foust who lived in Clinton, Sara D: March 5, 1955, Jesse D: March 28, 1957. I am trying to find out where Jesse Hall's grandfather Henry Clay Yarber came from.I think it was N.C., but I am trying to verify that and the family. Jesse's mother, Mattie E. Rains D:1914 in Anderson Co, but I have not been able to locate where she is buried.
